Her assessment of that risk is most likely correct. He's a very selfish and childish boy, that one. Could be immensely useful and an asset if he were a bit more on the bright side.
I am happy to hear Claire has made friends who are concerned for her in a me healthy manner.
No, not that I am aware of -but humans always were good enough at manipulating each other in that manner without any special powers. Sylar does possess a number of other abilities, however. Question is, can I trust you to be a reasonable young man and not fall to the emotional temptation of thinking that information alone would give you an advantage enough to confront him?
Besides. A jealous ex-boyfriend - even an emotionally unstable powerhouse of an ex-boyfriend - is none of my business. I don't plan to confront him. I just want to learn what I can so I can stay out of his way and make sure that Claire's safe.
Very good, you are a wise boy. I might even come to like you, Tim. Suppose I shall trust you then. Please live up to my expectations.
I knew both Sylar and Claire back when they were in a relationship and have invested time and concern for them both. However, I won't defend the boy when he come to cross the line -as a serial killers without much remorse are wont to do.
It would seem Sylar's ability is in fact to absorb powers and abilities. Near limitless regeneration, impressive telekinesis, ability to form electricity and ice, and as I believe Claire mentioned, shapeshifting. I have not witnessed that one myself, though. It is possible he has collected more.
I am relieved to hear that you come to that conclusion on your own. It is, however, not out of mine. If it is what you want and if you have the courage to do so then encourage you to continue to be Claire's friend. The girl sorely needs it. I will aid you if Sylar gives you problems.
