He's insane.  One adoptive father is already one too many.  Besides, 'Timothy Al Ghul' doesn't exactly roll off the tongue.  And the other options he's giving me are even worse - marrying Talia?  Even if I wasn't tied up with hunting down the Council of Spiders, I am not spending the rest of my life as Damian's stepfather.

If he's trying to provoke me into snapping and killing him... no.  He'll have to push harder.  There's got to be an acceptable alternative.  I finally have the League of Assassins playing by sensible rules, actually doing something for the good of the world.  I'm not going to throw that away yet. 

At least, not until the cloning vats are finished.

What I need is to find someone who's impressive enough for Ra's to adopt, but who I wouldn't be trying to kill by the end of my honeymoon.

Any volunteers?

My mentor wants to make sure I feel some sort of familial loyalty to him. So, I either have to let him adopt me - not happening. Or I could marry his daughter, who's enough older than me that... well, she's a lot older, let's leave it at that. Or I have to find a fiance he's willing to adopt - still kind of weird, but the onlt acceptable option right now.
